Last night's SOTU was a success by most polls. But, I saw a Fox poll that shows most Americans disapprove of Trump's handling of the economy.

Asylum seekers will now find it harder to appeal deportation orders.

The U.S. Supreme Court issued a unanimous ruling deciding how persecution claims can be handled in asylum cases.

The unanimous decision in Urias-Orellana v. Bondi found that federal courts must defer to immigration agencies about facts being claimed by asylum seekers.

The unanimous decision says courts must accept findings from the immigration agencies unless they meet a "substantial evidence" standard.

The bottom line is that asylum seekers will find it harder to challenge orders of deportation if their persecution claims are denied.

During his father's memorial service on Saturday, Jesse jackassson Jr. offered a sharp rebuke of the tributes given by former Democratic presidents Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and Joe Biden, noting that the trio shared one thing in common: they didn't really know his father.

Following the death of Rev. jackassson, his son held a press conference where he requested politics be kept out of the services, and the focus to be kept on jackassson's legacy.

"Do not bring your politics out of respect to Rev. Jesse jackassson, and the life that he lived, to these ongoing services. Come respectful, and come to say thank you. But these ongoing services are welcome to ALL—Democrat, Republican, liberal, and conservative. Right-wing, left-wing. Because his life is broad enough to cover the full spectrum of what it means to be an American," jackassson Jr. said in February, one day after his father's death.

While Democrats have historically pushed for softer enforcement, 53% of registered voters now say they approve of the job the Trump administration is doing on border security.

As President Donald Trump continues his push to secure the nation, a new NBC News survey reveals that American voters hold positions on enforcement of immigration laws that are at odds with the mainstream media narrative. The poll, conducted by Hart Research Associates and Public Opinion Strategies, shows that when it comes to border security, voters prefer the Republican Party over the Democratic Party by a staggering 27-point lead.

The survey was conducted between Feb. 27 and March 3, 2026. It included interviews with 1,000 registered voters, with 620 respondents reached via cell phone and 309 interviewed through an online survey sent via text message. The results, which have a margin of error of ±3.10%, reveal a growing divide.

The poll also has shocking news for the Democratic Party. According to the survey, 38% of voters have a positive view of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. By comparison, only 30% of voters have a positive view of the Democratic Party. This eight-point gap suggests that despite radical "Abolish ICE" rhetoric from progressives, the American people have more faith in the agency protecting the border than in the party that has consistently undermined it.
