Thanksgiving

Hell, with traffic and construction lately, it takes me 2 hours to get home from work the past 3 days I left there lol.



My worst drive, was up to Connecticut, almost 11 hours. Lot of assholes (I didnt say Yankees lulz) up there lol. Was cool that I got to drive like they do.... you know.... flicking each other off and saying "Fuck you too!" as you pass each other  

 My worst drive was driving into NY.  I've never so many angry men in suits in my life. All on the GW Bridge yelling and flipping people off.



 By the time I got to my destination I was traumatized lol

Damn Yankees

 She got yams, corn, salad....and perhaps potato salad or that macaroni salad. And rolls.  Mac and cheese.

We only recently got a taste for sweet potatoes. My sons love sweet potato fries from the airfryer. Anyway, we don't do that many sides. I know some of them will end up in the garbage.

I have to add some green and some spices to mac n cheese. I find it too bland without some extras.

Compared  to the US, Thanksgiving is a minor celebration in Canada tho it is still observed as a national Holiday inn eRly October.



We were told about the Pilgrims & the Mayflower as kids by our teachers. But there were no pilgrims in Canada. It was all made up. All those events occurred on the Atlantic or East Coast of the US.



Bit maybe since America & Canada were ruled by the British thats how the holday made its way up here as it may have been a common one in the North American British colonies. So Thanksgiving must have predated the founding of the US as a nation.
