I considered continuing to post there after the brief time we were offline, but I changed my mind. It's a closed group of people who have been posting together for fifteen years.

VF is an odd bird as far as forums go.... it was just quirky and laid-back when i first found it.... i think "flat earth" was somewhat awkward conversation for most of them.... it prompted me to start my own subforum so not to agitate ppl who wanted to avoid controversy.... but "covid" was the REAL game-changer there (as it was for many ppl).... by the 2020 election, the forum was pretty much divided.... alot of ppl left.... some probably died.... and what remained were a large gaggle of vaccinated blue-haired liberals and a very small handful of conservatives.... i still enjoy posting there sometimes.... but its certainly not as charming and entertaining as it was when i found it....

I got to know the owner. I found her to be a charming woman. But, she doesn't post that much. And the handful of regulars contributions do not make ne want to stay.

I dunno man... that place seemed pretty lefttarded to me during my brief time there. I've been a member there for like 7 years now or some shit and could never post for more than a month or two at a time. Maybe it's the layout. I'm not a fan of phpbb at all.
