I think protests should be against a country's own government instead of a foreign one..

In this case it's probably that the local government is aiding and abetting the crimes of the foreign government so protesting one is basically also protesting the other. Not to mention protesting war crimes no matter where they're occurring isn't a bad thing and even more important if our own governments are supporting/enabling them.

I think it's up to Israelis to protest Israel's policies and it's up to Canadians to protest Canada's policies....but after what happened last time there were protests against Justin Trudeau's policies Canadians feel safer protesting foreign government policies whether it be Israel or the USA.

Garraty, I lived in Taiwan for the first four years of my life......there are protests all the time in Taipei against the governing Democratic Progressive Party....Canadians are scared to do that against the governing Liberals.....they feel safer protesting Israel or the USA.

Agrand jury in Oklahoma indicted Robert Morris, founding pastor of the popular Texas-based Gateway Church, on five counts of lewd or indecent acts with a child. The Wednesday indictment concerns alleged sexual abuse that dates back to the 1980s.

Cindy Clemishire, the victim by Morris' own admission, expressed relief that after four decades, the former pastor might finally have to answer for his alleged crimes.

"There can be no tolerance for those who sexually prey on children," Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond said in a statement. "This case is all the more despicable because the alleged perpetrator was a pastor who exploited his position. The victim in this case has waited far too many years for justice to be done."

The victim was a twelve year old girl.

Percy Levy, a Seattle based treasurer of Black Lives Matter was arrested on drug, weapons charges. Washington Governor Jay Inslee had commuted his sentence for robbery and drug charges.

Levy does not sound like an African-American name to me.
