Kyle Rittenhouse has survived yet another mobbing by rabid progtards, this time in America's most dangerous city: Democrat-run Memphis.

The 21-year-old Second Amendment advocate spoke Wednesday at an event hosted by the University of Memphis student chapter of Turning Point USA. An event listing indicated that Rittenhouse was planing to "share his side of the story that caught the media's eye in 2020."

Hundreds of protesters gathered outside, screaming at guests and hindering the flow of traffic in and out of the UC Theatre.

Shareholders voted Friday to take former president Donald Trump's media company public, a long-delayed move that will open the owner of Truth Social to stock-market investors and grant Trump a stake worth billions of dollars.

Trump will own about 60 percent of the company, which at Digital World's current share price would be worth about $3.3 billion. He and other investors could earn tens of millions more shares through an "earnout" provision tied to the stock's performance, Digital World said in an SEC filing.

But a lockup provision in the merger agreement will prevent Trump and other major shareholders from selling their shares for six months unless he is granted a waiver by the post-merger company's board.

Any lockup change or waiver will be decided by the post-merger company's board, which will be stocked with Trump allies, an SEC filing shows. The board's nominees include Trump's oldest son Donald Trump Jr.; Trump's former trade representative Robert E. Lighthizer; Linda McMahon, who headed the Small Business Administration under Trump; and Kash Patel, who served on Trump's National Security Council.

The post-merger company, which will be called Trump Media, could begin trading on the Nasdaq stock exchange as soon as Monday under the ticker symbol of Trump's initials, DJT. That symbol was also used for Trump's only other public company, Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts, which collapsed into a penny stock in less than a decade and filed for bankruptcy in 2004.

The merger will net Trump Media $300 million that Digital World initially raised from investors. Trump's allies and company executives will also be granted bundles of shares in the new company that could be worth millions of dollars.

The Supreme Court's refusal this week to take up McDonald's appeal of a lower court ruling means the fast food giant will have to face a class action that alleges the company violated antitrust laws.

The burger chain was sued in 2017 over no-poaching agreements between franchise owners that allegedly violated workers' rights by limiting their job mobility. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit resurrected the proposed class action lawsuit after a lower court dismissed it.

brutal mountain lion attack took the life of a 21-year-old California man, and left his younger with "traumatic injuries," according to authorities.

Two brothers – ages 18 and 21 – were reportedly antler shed hunting in Georgetown, California. A mountain lion attacked the pair in the wilderness of the remote area of Northern California on Saturday afternoon.

During the vicious mountain lion attack, the brothers were separated in the area about 40 miles northeast of Sacramento.

The younger brother called 911 at 1:13 p.m. to report the animal attack, according to the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office.

Around 1:46 p.m., deputies began searching the area for the brothers.

Deputies and paramedics located the older brother and encountered the mountain lion that was crouched next to the 21-year-old California man on the ground, according to authorities. Law enforcement officers reportedly fired shots "scaring the mountain lion off so they could render aid" to the man on the ground.

Sadly, the older brother had succumbed to his injuries from the mountain lion attack and was already dead by the time emergency crews were able to get to the man.

The 18-year-old brother suffered "traumatic injuries" to his face and was transported to a local hospital for treatment, the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office stated.

swimming for their lives.
Early Tuesday morning, a Singapore-flagged container ship called the Dali rammed into one of the piers holding up Francis Scott Key Bridge, a steel arch-shaped truss bridge extending Interstate 695 some 1,200 feet over the Baltimore Harbor. Upon impact, the bridge came toppling down — along with those vehicles on the compromised segments.

Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman indicated the bridge has "totally collapsed" and that rescue teams are on site.

So far, there have been no reports of casualties.

Georgia man has been desperately fighting for years to remove dozens of squatters off his property in Atlanta. The property owner has faced major hurdles in trying to reclaim his land from the squatters, including spending thousands to clean up the estate and being sued for $190,000.

David Morris owns a nine-acre property in southeast Atlanta. He said that about 10 years ago, he started allowing four individuals to live on the property rent-free.

However, uninvited trespassers began living on his land at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Morris looked to the city of Atlanta for assistance in removing the squatters from his property. Unfortunately for the property owner, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention imposed a halt to residential evictions starting in September 2020. The pandemic-mandated eviction moratorium in Georgia didn't end until October 2021.

At one point, as many as 30 trespassers were living on his property. He noted that there are now eight squatters on his land.

One of the squatters filed a $190,000 counter-claim against him. However, the case was dismissed because they did not show up in court.

About a year ago, Morris said the "entire medical staff" of the Stop Cop City activist movement was camped on his property.

Never go into the woods without a pistol. I'd have smoked that fucking cat even before it attacked. Fuck nature. I'm more important.

Equally retarded, the cops should have shot the mountain lion.

What a sorry state mankind has slid into.

I wish mountain lions would kill more Californians.

A Delaware man serving a three-year sentence for marching through the halls of Congress on Jan. 6, 2021, has won early release thanks to a Supreme Court decision to review the Biden administration's novel use of an evidence-tampering law to prosecute hundreds of Jan. 6 defendants for felony obstruction of Congress.

Kevin Seefried, who was one of the first people to enter the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, was convicted in June 2022 following a bench trial before Judge Trevor McFadden of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on four misdemeanors and a single felony obstruction charge.

Judge McFadden sentenced him on Feb. 9, 2023, to 36 months in prison and one year of supervised release.

Mr. Seefried, who's been incarcerated since May 31, 2023, appealed his conviction and sentence several times.

Following a complex legal journey tied to the fate of a separate Jan. 6 case that is now before the U.S. Supreme Court, Judge McFadden issued an order on March 26, granting Mr. Seefried's motion for release pending resolution of an appeal—but not immediately.

"The Bureau of Prisons is ordered to release Seefried one year after the day on which he surrendered to custody," the judge wrote in the memorandum and order, meaning that Mr. Seefried will remain behind bars until May 31.
