A  think tank released a new bombshell report this week revealing that the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals only provides 2% of its total budget to pet shelters throughout the United States, despite having hundreds of millions of dollars and providing many employees with six-figure salaries.



The Center for the Environment and Welfare, a new think tank dedicated to sustainability and animal welfare, released a report exposing the ASPCA, a nonprofit organization formed to prevent animal cruelty, for deceptively using donors' dollars to support "radical and elitist" anti-farmer policies instead of funding animal shelters.

Fox News Channel's ratings for its 8:00 p.m. time slot have fallen off a cliff without Tucker Carlson this week. The Associated Press, citing the Nielsen Company, reported that Fox got 1.33 million viewers for the 8 p.m. slot hosted by Brian Kilmeade on Wednesday — that marks a steep decline from the 3.05 million viewers Carlson had last Wednesday, Nielsen noted, according to the AP.

A local Bloomington, Indiana, dive bar recently lost some of its regulars after its ownership released a statement supporting Bud Light and accusing customers of "bigotry and hatred" amid the controversy surrounding the promotional partnership between Anheuser-Busch and transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

Hey, if FOX wants to race CNN to the bottom, I say "let them". As for Tucker... well it rather looks as if FOX paying out his contract is an effort to silence him (at least severely limit his reach) ahead of the 2024 elections.



It will be interesting to hear what he has to say, should he adopt a "no fucks given" approach to the terms and conditions of his dismissal.  :evilthoughts2:

A California "momfluencer" was convicted for making up a fake kidnapping story against a Latino couple. The couple claimed that the false allegations were racially motivated.



Katie Sorensen, 31, was found guilty of one count of making a false report of a crime, the Sonoma County District Attorney's Office said on Thursday. Sorensen was taken into custody on $100,000 bail.



In December 2020, Sorensen claimed that a man and woman attempted to kidnap her two children in the parking lot of a Michaels craft store in Petaluma, a city roughly 40 miles north of San Francisco. She reported the alleged crime to the Petaluma Police Department.



About a week later, the mom influencer posted a video on social media talking about the alleged kidnapping attempt. The Instagram video regarding the alleged child abduction attempt went viral, quickly racking up more than 4 million views. Sorensen has since deleted her Instagram account, which had nearly 60,000 followers.



"My children were the targets of an attempted kidnapping," Sorensen said at the time. "I want to share that story with you in an effort as to what signs to look for and encourage parents to be more aware of their surroundings and what is going on around them."



Sorensen also appeared on a local news program to discuss the alleged kidnapping attempt.



Sorensen fingered Sadie and Eddie Martinez in the alleged kidnapping attempt. The social media influencer claimed that she was "paralyzed with fear" when the couple allegedly attempted to kidnap her children. The couple was at Michaels purchasing a decorative baby Jesus.

Sadie and Eddie Martinez told the Petaluma Argus-Courier that the kidnapping accusations made against them were racially motivated.

It always has been, but we always knew this.



So, here's how things work after talking with a recycling facility employee a few days ago, when dropping off some 'recyclables' at the depot (rural folk are always willing to chat)...



This employee was there to ensure that not one item from one category was placed into a bin from another category.  All plastic is different, and if any mixing occurs the entire load goes to the landfill, either local or foreign.



Styrofoam included.  'Hard' styrofoam cannot be mixed with 'soft' styrofoam.  If it gets mixed, off to the landfill the entire load goes.



Within plastics alone, there are numerous varieties of plastics.  They cannot be mixed, or it gets landfilled.  The VAST MAJORITY of people wouldn't know the fucking difference between plastics.
