I don't even get Fox News anymore.  I cut the cable a while back.  I will catch Gutfeld on Youtube if I remember.  Newsmax is cool and a free download.  Eric Bolling is good, and Chris Plante is funny as fuck.

The state of Texas is suing Planned Parenthood, and the organization argued that it may go out of business if the lawsuit is successful.

"This baseless case is an active effort to shut down Planned Parenthood health centers," said Alexis McGill Johnson, the president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

The lawsuit alleges that Planned Parenthood wrongfully accepted payment from Medicaid during a time when the state was suing to end those funds.

Texas first notified the abortion provider that it would end Medicaid payments in December 2016. The organization sued and got a federal court to agree with it, which allowed it to continue Medicaid. In 2020, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit reversed that ruling, and it was upheld in 2021.

Residents in a tiny U.K. village are upset that their council has agreed to purchase an estate for more than $2 million (£1.8 million), where prices for each individual house are nearly double that of local homeowners.

Locals from the rural town of Langtoft, Lincolnshire, England, are reportedly crying out over plans to house Afghan and Ukrainian refugee families in the village with a population just over 2,000, as of 2011 census reports.

The Daily Mail reported that while the average property prices in the village are just over $500,000 (£400,000), the houses the local government purchased are worth more than $890,000 (£700,000).

A California mother made a grisly discovery of a dead 30-year-old woman wrapped up in plastic in her son's bedroom.

A mother investigated a "gas smell" emanating from her son's bedroom. The mother reportedly entered the bedroom and found a dead woman's body wrapped up in plastic.

Authorities have yet to reveal the cause of death of the woman or if the victim knew the suspect.

Dylan Mulvaney will charge $40,000 per visit to college campuses to give talks and speeches to students this year. The trans influencer, 26, is charging nearly double her rate compared to what she asked for before becoming the center of Bud Light's controversy in April

What will he talk about that is worth $40,000?

Three large healthcare groups — the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Emergency Physicians, and the Emergency Nurses Association — issued a joint letter Wednesday warning of an ongoing and worsening crisis: children presenting in emergency rooms with mental health issues that hospitals are not equipped to handle.

According to the report, "Emergency department (ED) visits by children and youth with mental and behavioral health (MBH) emergencies in the United States have been increasing over the last decade. At the same time, there has been an increased prevalence of depression and suicide in pediatrics."

The report states that the problem is especially acute among black school-aged children, who have a suicide rate that is two times higher than white children.

Most troubling, the report notes that emergency rooms "have a wide variation in their capability to care for pediatric patients with MBH conditions," and that "There is often inconsistent screening for self-harm risks and substance use in patients presenting for both mental health concerns and other complaints."

Dr. Willough Jenkins, medical director of emergency and consultation psychitry at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, told NBC News that the number of kids seeking psychiatric emergency care in her ER has increased thirty-fold in recent years. "The volume is astronomical, and I don't know that people fully understand how many people are struggling," Jenkins said.

The Fulton County Sheriff claimed that Donald Trump will be treated like local inmates during the booking process, with no special accommodations accorded to the former U.S. president.

"If you're indicted, then we're going to treat you as though you're indicted here locally, and so we'll consider you to do fingerprints, mugshots, etc." said Sheriff Patrick Labatt to CNN.

Charles Rambo, a retired lieutenant of the sheriff's office, said to the media outlet that once inside "they would be pat down, led to the booking office in the rear. From there, they probably have to have ties and shoe strings and all those types of things taken. Then, from there the persons would be fingerprinted, given a booking photo."

President Trump along with the other defendants are expected to be photographed for mugshots. It is unclear whether Trump or any of the high-profile co-defendants would go through all steps typically taken by a prisoner at the facility.

"I don't expect Trump to spend hours in this jail because the longer he is, it's a pain. It's going to be a hassle for the entire sheriff's department or at least those who are at the jail when the president's there. It's going to be a circus," said Chris Timmons, former Georgia prosecutor to CNN. "The 'Rice Street' jail is not a pleasant place. It's dirty, it's scary."

Alabama could be the first state to execute a prisoner by inhaling nitrogen. The Alabama attorney general's office asked the state Supreme Court on Friday to set a date for the execution of death row inmate Kenneth Eugene Smith.

The Associated Press reported that a court filing indicated the state plans to put Smith to death using nitrogen hypoxia. The execution has been authorized in three states, but it has never been used.

I don't know why a good old fashioned hanging can't be used.

A piece of rope has to be cheaper, and you can reuse it.
