A teacher lost his job over pronouns. Seven years of legal battles later he won $650,000.
John Kluge, a music teacher at Brownsburg High School in Indiana, was awarded $650,000 after suing his school district for religious discrimination. The case centered on his refusal to use the preferred names and pronouns of transgender students, which he said violated his Christian beliefs.
When the issue first came up in 2017, Kluge proposed a compromise: he would address all students by their last names only, treating everyone equally without using any first names or pronouns. The school initially agreed. But after some students complained that the last-name-only policy made them feel singled out, the district reversed its decision and told Kluge he had to comply with the original pronoun policy. When he refused, he was pressured into resigning.
Kluge filed a civil rights lawsuit arguing that the school violated his religious freedom. After a seven-year legal battle, the district agreed to a $650,000 settlement. The case became a flashpoint in the broader national debate over transgender rights in schools and the limits of religious accommodation in the workplace.

The opposite is happening in British Columbia Canada. You have people getting fined $750K for misgendering tranny mental cases.
