Agreed. Sooner than Joe thinks at any rate. Statistically we are long overdue for a Carrington Event, it only takes one CME to cross the Earth's orbital path and pretty much anything with a wire attached to it will be toast.



There is also a chance that an aggressor could trigger airbursts over selected nodes in the US. Unlikely perhaps, but it might be the kind of hail mary that a nation like China might enploy to confuse its opposition while it annexes Taiwan... or Russia might employ the end the principal financiers of the war on its borders.  Depending on the severity of the resulting EMP, the results could be comparable.

I'm not accepting it even with protest. Not accepting it at all. I've a bit of practice in finding my way around obstacles, with a little forethought, pre-planning and action, I will sidestep this challenge and avoid it for the most part.



It can be done, but you'll need to be open to substantive change to make it work. At least the changes will be those I identify and accept, I won't have to blindly accept what our self-styled leaders decree them to be.
