It is true that it is hard to debate with someone who won't even state their position.  Personally, I think the U.S. needs slightly less but higher quality immigration.  More wealthy and highly educated people, more people who fill specific skills shortages, a hell of a lot less of people who just show up at the border without any background check or formal process
