Yep.  I'm sure I'll regret not getting a Toyota instead, but so far it has been good.

The Coyote has far less issues then the EcoBoost but the Nissan  Titan with a 5L Cummins turbo diesel seems decent.

Mine has been good so far, but some 2018+ Coyotes seem to have oil consumption issues related to a switch from cast iron cylinder liners to plasma-lined cylinders.



Nissan has discontinued the Titan in Canada due to low sales, and they've also discontinued the Cummins for the US market too.



The real question remains, is why can't we get the HiLux here?  Every extreme militant knows it has the exceptional combination of style and durability necessary for demanding conditions...

You cant even get an old Hilux at a good price.

Kurt's cousin from Austria has come to Australia twice on holiday and could not believe his eyes we owned a 52 year old vehicle. The the cars rust out in Europe from salt on the roads.



They are too big.... and ours is even bigger because the tray Kurt built for the back is massive.

Tacoma is Toyota's small truck sold in North America. Their big truck sold here is the Tundra.
