Ditto that handsome. I read that he Argentina/Netherlands game had no scoring. It was decided by penalty kicks.

Who the fuck would find that entertaining??

So Germany wins it 1-0 in extra time. Argentina played a solid game though. Much better than Brazil who lost 3-0 to the Netherlands.

It was a boisterous crowd in Toronto, including many Ghana fans who enjoyed their team defeating Canada 1-0.

It was a good game! Hopefully better luck for Canada vs. Finland on Friday!

Didn't some players on the North Korean women's team test positive for steroids a few years back?

I can't tell by looking at them if they are taking banned performance enhancing substances.

North Korea officials blamed traditional musk deer gland medicine used after a lightning strike for five positive tests for steroids at the Women's World Cup, the biggest soccer doping scandal at a major tournament in 17 years.

After two players were caught during the tournament this month, FIFA president Sepp Blatter said Saturday the world soccer governing body took the unprecedented step of testing the rest of the North Korean squad and found three more positive results.

A North Korean delegation told Blatter and the head of FIFA's medical committee on Saturday that the steroids were accidentally taken with traditional Chinese medicines based on the deer glands.

Ah, the old 'steroids were accidentally taken with traditional Chinese medicines based on deer glands after we were hit by lightning' excuse. A classic!

In other other World Cup news, the Canadian women's rugby team surprised France to get into that World Cup final for the first time.
