Remember Malcunt Turdball's reign? The Australian colonialism push of 2016 into Norfolk Island? A territory of Australia to be sure, but largely a self reliant one, not the least because the only "welfare" being practiced on the island was met more than adequately by the community.

They had their own nursing staff, you might think of it as a local styled hospital, though no real specialists and that was the angle the Australian government used as an excuse to tighten their grip over the territory... with the consequence that what resources the local families and the wider community might use to administer their own wellbeing and that of their community members was severely compromised. That's the great tragedy - they had a system which served them admirably to a point, and a benevolent government might have arranged a system where specialists might be available... for a fee.

Ohhh wait, such a system already existed in the form of private healthcare. More or less the system which the US uses and one which Australia uses to skirt the horrendously long waiting times that the welfare class is subject to in Australia. So Malcunt Turdball was, as you say, bullshitting everyone for the reasons to go and turn Norfolk Island into the kinds of nanny state the mainland is subject to. Yeah, I think they were better off pre-2016 myself, at least they were doing for themselves. Socialist governments like the Liberal party hate that shit.

Dunno about this murderer of which you speak, but it doesn't matter, past proving a point I'd already made which is this; the administration of services that the Australian government was supposed to provide aren't being provided. I'm late getting onto this thread. I'm not sure why but for some unknown reason, it was ghosted. Anyway, for the two on this site who are trying (and failing) to defend the abo's and their deplorable behavior, here is a bit of advice for you.

And, as expected, the people who try to defend their "culture" don't realize what a horrid culture it was/is. Years ago, we had a friend (RIP) who was a native Eskimo born in Alaska. She and her white husband moved to Alberta where we met them. At a party one evening, one of the boors in the room asked her if she ever missed the old ways. She replied with "The old ways? Norfolk had East Polynesians in the 14 or 15 centuries but after several generations, they disappeared.

If China decided to flex its colonialist muscle and take over Australia next week, you might understand the plight of the Norfolk Islanders. After all, China effectively owns two (or was it three) of your ports, they enjoy influence over your government and they have been quite active in their dealings in south-east Asia for some years now.
