Arizonans pass measure requiring life in prison for convicted child sex traffickers

Voters have decided "yes" on Proposition 313, which would require anyone convicted of child sex trafficking be sentenced to life in prison.

Arizonans overwhelmingly decided to pass the measure with a 61.82% vote on Election Day, surpassing 1 million votes.

Currently in Arizona, those found guilty of sex trafficking of a child under 15 in Arizona face a minimum sentence of seven years in prison.

Under the new measure, anyone convicted of child sex trafficking will serve life in prison without the possibility of parole or release.

Harris concedes 2024 presidential race in call to Trump

US Vice President Kamala Harris phoned Donald Trump to concede on Wednesday, hours after the Republican candidate was declared the winner of the US presidential election, a senior Harris aide said.

Harris "called President-elect Trump to congratulate him on winning the 2024 presidential election," the aide said. "She discussed the importance of a peaceful transfer of power and being a president for all Americans."

Harris is scheduled to give a speech at her alma mater, Howard University, this afternoon, where she's expected to address the election results.

It should be the death penalty.

When murderers get the death penalty their victims don't suffer because they are dead however children sex trafficked have to suffer all their lives from sex attacks.

I charge that sex crimes on kids are 1000 or more times worse than murder hence they deserve capital punishment.
