My Bloody Valentine was formed 1983 in Dublin, Ireland. They are considered to be pioneers of the shoegaze movement. I confess to not having listened to much shoegaze. Or, it's just as likely I've listened to more than I thought but didn't know what it was. I am certain, however, that I don't worry about genre labels. As I've said before, it's all about the sound and if it sounds good, that's good enough for me. With that in mind, I like how this sounds:
