Very difficult to pick a "winner".  Might just boil down to whichever one I'm in the mood for on any given day. That said, I generally like Ted's instrumentation the best, but Pat's vocals are better than Ted's. 

As for Foghat?  Hell, they're good any time.

Ronnie James Dio is my favourite singer like evah. His songs are hard to cover because he was such a powerful vocalist. Killswitch Engage does a respectable job with Dio's hit song Holy Diver.
