If the Canadian dollar gits hammed the value of the gold stays constant in ANY currency no matter what happens to the National Currency, eh?

As much as I liked the economic priorities of the Chretien/Martin years, they did all they could to keep the Canadian dollar artificially low and exports high.

In recent history, the CDN $ is highest when there is a Conservative or PC federal government and a Dem president.
