When the economy goes sour the corporate conservatives always expect a government bailout and they always get it. Meanwhile the traditional conservatives on Main Street always end up suffering while their rich cousins get theirs. From what ive observed there's a stark divide between corporate and traditional conservatives. I think thats what the rise of Trump was all about. He spoke for the Main Street conservatives who have been left behind particularly since the 2008 recession
