An Indian-origin man, identified as Prashant Sreekumar, aged 44, passed away on December 22, 2025, at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital in Edmonton, Canada, after waiting over eight hours for urgent medical attention. According to his wife, he arrived with severe chest pain but was only given painkillers and was forced to wait despite his obvious deterioration. Eventually, when he was finally attended to, he collapsed and died from cardiac arrest, despite resuscitation attempts.
