New battery that lasts the day, and fresh storage/ram.

It's like getting a new car...

The old one was highly functional but bloated memory wise, cracked on the back face, and had a dodgy connection  in the port, plus didn't want to take more than 30% wireless charge before heating up and shutting down charging.

It was like breast feeding electricity...

I don't spend too much on phones & therefore don't get too attached to 'em.

Try to spend no more than $200.

In general the worst cellphones I've owned are Apples.

They have performance issues and the most reliable I've had thus far are Samsun/android.

But it's good to have a cheap apple phone on hand because some apps simply don't work without an apple phone

I was trying to sign up for an investment account and I couldn't cuz I was using an Android phone.

a 3 year old Android phone actually performs better than a brand new iPhone.

thats what I found. If you want cute then buy Apple. But ifya wanna phone that works, get a Samsung.

Turns out they needed an iPhone to verify my info.

so while Apple phones aren't my favorite I'll keep 1 around just for occassions like that.

I buy new Samsung galaxies but older vintages. Don't want 5G and in many aspects, they're equal to new releases.
