Was the economy better under Trump or Biden?

Biden and his supporters keep insisting that things are going well.

But if that's the case why do so many Americans appear to be turning against him & the Democrats?

All I know is Biden got in and a few months later gas was six bucks a gallon. I never paid that much under Trump.
