Lawmakers blast Biden Gaza port plan as political move to win back progressives

House Republicans are accusing President Biden of putting American lives at risk for political reasons with his plan to build a temporary floating port off the Gaza coast.

Whatever that "port" is for it's not humanitarian aid, any of which can't be delivered that way for what... months?

Palestinians are already starving to death and by the time that so-called port is ready to be used for aid shipments it will be too little too late. If they try to buy time by starting to bring in more aid through existing checkpoints they ruin the pretext of needing a port to begin with. Those paltry air drops are basically more insult than relief.

Whatever they're actually trying to accomplish is both horrible and stupid and will probably blow up in their faces... maybe literally.

I have a different opinion than you about Hamas, but I agree the port is all for show.
