All these fires in L.A. breaking out at the same time can't be a coincidence. Somebody or something is starting them. Something like mysterious drones that have been flying around? Dropping incendiary devices set on a timer maybe?

These fires are burning all the way down to the ocean. Picture from Malibu today -

Mel Gibson airs conspiracy theory over LA fires

Actor Mel Gibson has offered a conspiracy theory over the 'convenient' circumstances surrounding the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

Gibson questioned in an odd moment with Fox News' Laura Ingraham if the ruinous fires were 'commissioned' in order to move people off valuable property.

'I can make all kinds of horrible theories up in my head, conspiracy theories and everything else, but it just seemed a little convenient that there was no water,' Gibson said. 'And that the wind conditions were right and that there are people ready and willing and able to start fires.'

The Max Max star then questioned if the theorized fire starters were 'commissioned' or 'just acting on their own volition'. 'But they seem pretty well equipped. Some of these people that they're catching,' he added.

'I know they were missing with the water, letting reserves go for one reason or another. They've been doing that a while. California has a lot of problems that sort of baffle the mind as far as why they do things.'

'And then in events like this, you sort of look, well, it is on purpose? Which, it's an insane thing to think. But one begins to ponder whether or not there is a purpose in mind. What could it be? You know, what do they want? The state empty? I don't know.'

The fires were deliberately set, but not by state government agents.

Joe Biden warns 'oligarchy is taking shape in America' in farewell address

Joe Biden's final address to the nation struck an ominous tone after warning of the growing power of America's ultra-wealthy, and cautioning that an emerging oligarchy threatens the foundations of US democracy.

"Today, an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power and influence that literally threatens our entire democracy, our basic rights and freedoms, and a fair shot for everyone to get ahead," Biden said.

Biden also warned of a "tech industrial complex" in the United States in words that echoed President Dwight Eisenhower's farewell address in 1961. Eisenhower, closing out eight years as president, had warned of the dangers of a "military-industrial complex" gaining power in the United States.

Biden harked back to Eisenhower's speech in his 15-minute message.

"Six decades later, I'm equally concerned about the potential rise of a tech industrial complex. It could pose real dangers for our country as well. Americans are being buried under an avalanche of misinformation and disinformation, enabling the abuse of power," he said.

"The free press is crumbling. Pillars are disappearing. Social media is giving up on fact checking," Biden said. Truth is smothered by lies, told for power and for profit. We must hold the social platforms accountable, to protect our children, our families in a very democracy from the abuse of power."

Biden's administration has also tried to address the rise of artificial intelligence, including with largely voluntary initiatives by major firms like OpenAI to establish safeguards. But despite months of sessions devoted to the concerns over AI, Congress never passed any significant law.

"Unless safeguards are in place, AI could spawn new threats to our right, our way of life, to our privacy, how we work and how we protect our nation," Biden said. "We must make sure AI and safe and trustworthy."

Bidumb didn't seem to give a fuck about a "tech industrial complex" and their oligarchs as long as they ALL did the Dem party's bidding. It only became a problem for them when Musk and Zuckerberg defected.
