If Biden is forced to step down, who'll replace him?

Her infectious giggle will disarm China and Russia.....lol

You'll see.

...giggling all the way to the presidency.

Yeah at this point can't see any other route or any way out.

The Democrats made her VP, so they're now obligated to go with her.

However if Biden had done the right thing, announced he wasn't running again, they coulda have had an open convention & wouldn't be obligated to go with her. And they could have renewed their party.

I was watching a black woman on youtube talking to someone like Piers Morgan... she was saying if they don't choose Kamala to replace Biden she was going to destroy the Democrats by taking ALL the black women's votes away from Biden and she sounded influential enough to do it too. So while Kamala is unattractive to most peeps, the black democratic women love her and are prepared to decimate democrats over this topic.

I am not going to take much notice... when I come here I read a few things and put 2 cents in but I think Trump is going to win.

thing is the Democrats could have won re-election if they made the right moves and did it right.

But of course....they didn't and they've blown it.

Everything in a Perfect World they say....

....Oh well

No racial demographic does or has ever 100% voted as a bloc.
That's just not a thing.

That's even less true today than during the Obama regime, thanks to his long list of fuckups and failures.

The democrats were relatively successful at centering identity politics and then taking those constituencies for granted but it was always going to blow up in their faces when people realized the democrats were only saying shit to get elected and didn't mean any of it. That's already happening.

Do the democrats still enjoy an unearned plurality of the black vote? Maybe so. But it's mostly older voters. The youth are leaving in droves, just like the youth of every other demographic are abandoning the democrats.

If the democrats could articulate a substantive argument for passing over Kamala it would piss a certain number of people off, but not all of them. However the democrats wouldn't know a substantive argument if it kicked them in the teeth. All they know or have is identity-based box-checking bullshit and in this case that's working against them, not for them.

They did it to themselves though, so... /shrug

Yknow win or lose, the Democrats should just go with Kamala if a new nomination process would end in a messy clusterfuck at their convention.

Worst she could do us at least 200 EVs.

It's a slim but narrow chance she might even win. But at least she could hang onto their traditional blue states like California and New York. Plus the other ones too.

It's better to lose and get 230 EVs or so than Biden getting blown out with 100.

Whatever people think about Harris, at least she can look straight into a camera and speak without fumbling a sentence.

But is in his present state rather pathetic.

Maybe if he thought his legacy could continue with Kamala Biden might relent and step down
