Biden and the Dems don't like some decisions of the Supreme Court, so they immediately try to curtail their independence.

I think there are some valid concerns ranging from Ginsberg practically keeling over while on the bench to some genuine corruption issues that have been exposed recently. In my opinion term limits aren't really a bad idea.

The timing though; recent high-profile decisions giving democrats the shits and late in an election year; couldn't be worse for avoiding the appearance of a political machination. At best it whiffs of pandering for votes and can easily be viewed as a knee-jerk overreaction to decisions that weren't favorable to the democrats.

It's getting more difficult to believe the democrats aren't literally inept and acting with hidden motives so that their fumbling and bumbling is stealthily strategic. Maybe they really are just fucking idiots.

Should have been done a long time ago. And too little and way too late. The Democrats dragged their heels on this and should have introduced legislation early in their term.

Giving unelected officials who are political appointees lifetime appointments should be unconstitutional.

Same time age limits should be applied to politicians so they cannot run for office after age 75.

It's a good idea, but it's being floated by a decrepit fossil of a politician who shouldn't be in office either.

Biden casts aspersions on the Court while failing to recognize his own shortcomings and a system which allows politicians like him to remain in power.

If Biden wants judges to step down he should too.

We fucked around with enough of what the founders set up. If anything, we need to REPEAL Amendments! Politicians have a vehicle to retire justices already but they are too cowardly to use it. Fuck, they're too cowardly to wheel the likes of DiFi into a nursing home. They're too cowardly to take responsibility for the 4th branch of government!

Instead of fucking up the founder's system even more, MAKE THEM DO THEIR JOBS!!!!

At any rate, the idea that biden is going to propose an Amendment that has a snowballs chance in hell of passing is a fukin JOKE!!!!!!

And I dont support term limits BTW. YOU DESERVE THE ASSHOLE YOU VOTE FOR!!!!

Any thinking person with so much as a modicum of intelligence is going to view this as a "we don't get our way we change the rules until we do" scenario.

Not that we do not believe this already but it simply serves to demonstrate clearly to anyone still on the fence about it.

When you bend the rules to consistently fit the desires you end up with no rules at all. Not that your average idiot democrat can deduce that for themselves.

Since the Democrats don't like some recent rulings, they need to tighten the screws on the supreme court.

Could you imagine the uproar if Trump was president, and proposed the same thing because he didn't like their decisions. They would impeach him again.

This is the usual Democratic Party double standards in action. What a bunch of rich sore losers and crybabies.

If Democrats continue to ignore SC rulings or use EO's to, they can't be permitted to change anything with the SC at all.

Republicans may grumble or complain when it doesn't go their way but they still colour within the lines.
