I've actually watched a documentary on them. It sounded like the government was making threats to treat them like rebels, plus, they're land locked.

I think if the whites had negotiated to end apartheid for a land mass at least the size of Lesotho, that would have been viable.

I kinda thought that was the case, but thought that I'd reply anyway. Segregation may sound cruel and unfair in a majority black country...but had it prevailed, it might have prevented a large portion of the 500 000 + murders from happening and a collapsing/failing economy.

The majority of blacks are worse off now than they have ever been, particularly given the mass exodus of academic minds.

It is a case of once they get political power, their own will suffer from it.  Detroit, Baltimore, and other US cities run by blacks haven't ever gotten better.

Nobody would want one particular place. For example, most British South Africans prefer coastal lands, whilst the Dutch South Africans (Afrikaners) tend to prefer inland for farming.

A non-corruptible government would make some difference, but unfortunately the black South Africans see communist as a solution.
