The only kudos I will give to walz is that he managed to pick up on the fact that Vance intended to take the high road early and did not fully make himself look like a total asshole by constantly trying to goad him into his taking his original intent.

This debate turned out better than the presidential one

on both sides. Walz performed better than Kamoron and Vance performed better than trump.

I just finished watching the debate. Vance was cool calm and collected, whilst Walz tried as best as he possibly could, but failing dismally.

Vance looked straight into the camera or in the moderators direction when addressing the nation. He even did so when Walz was talking utter shit. Walz fumbled badly on most points, and even had to constantly refer to his notes during Vance's questioning.

We mostly saw the top of Walz's bald head and comb-over when he wasn't whining and spinning lies.

Pence was much the same, then he plunged the knife in at the end.

This is my problem with Vance... he's moreso campaigning for a 2028 presidential run than backing up his guy.

I'll give Vance a chance but my gut says he very well may be a non-gay variant of Pence.

I loved the way Vance brilliantly tethered Harris to the 4 years of utter failure and would not let up. Referring to the current administration as the "harris administration"

that did two things.

1) completely wipe Biden off the map in terms of legacy and relevancy (which actually might be a good thing for him).

2) tied all of the failures around her neck like a fucking albatross that walz was never able to climb out of


How do you say you are going to do something on day one which you have not done in the last 3.5 years?

and the Moderators never realized how they walked Walz right into that trap by mentioning the fact that the VP is often the last person in the room when important decisions are made. Thus solidifying how complicit harris was with what has happened over the last 3.5 years. And this is aside from the fact that she had the deciding vote in a split senate.

This was a worst case scenario for democrats as Vance was able to hammer home POLICY POLICY POLICY and strip Walz of his ability to mudsling.
