I miss the fall colors of Thanksgiving in Canada. It is more relaxed than Thanksgiving here in the States.

My boy, his old lady and the grandkids will get here early tomorrow and head back Monday afternoon. I slaughtered a turkey today. We will cook it tomorrow. It should be a happy Thanksgiving weekend.

I wasn't crazy about turkey. I will miss Thanksgiving weekend though. It was the last holiday without snow on the ground until Easter and some years Victoria Day in May.

I know of one Canadian Thanksgiving brunch here in SG with turkey, stuffing and all the usual feast items on Sunday. We're not going though.

My girlfriend and I are cooking a small turkey tomorrow. We always used to join someone else for Thanksgiving, but this year it's just the two of us.
