Quote from: J E B Stuart on December 08, 2024, 12:45:57 AMI think you might like this rare gem, too, Cochise. I stumbled across it years ago on a website I've long since forgotten the name of. Anyway, this country rocker finally got posted on ewe toob and now's as good a time as any to share it.

My kind of music.

This is a rockin' ska number I found several years ago. This Indiana outfit put out an album. I think this number really stands out and is a frequent part of my playlists:

The Nails were a new wave band that put out only three albums, but this song is epic.

Watch what you say to me or I'll mind FAWK U.

Good one. I've never heard of 'em. Thanks for sharing, amigo!  👍

This tune is something of a rarity. The band was led by David La Flamme, a fiddlin' fool. I had the good fortune to stumble across him years after this song came out. I went to a bar at a Colorado ski resort and he happened to be playing there that night. What a show!  Sadly, he passed away a year or so ago:

This is a good thread J E B Stuart......I seldom have the opportunity to listen music that isn't commercially accessible.

Thanks for the kind words, Formosan. Here's a really good tune from British Columbia. It's frequently on my playlists. I seem to recall that the band has dissolved. Anyway, I almost posted it in the Canadian music thread, but this one won out because it is, indeed, a gem, IMHO:

This guy has put out a ton of material, but only has a cult following in America.  SMH.  This is one of his best songs.

Love the band name; love the crunchy delay-slapping guitar. What's not to like about this rare punkemo number by some South Carolina boys?

Amen.
