Edmonton Oilers Fire Head Coach Dallas Eakins

After losing 15 out of their last 16 games, the Oil finally let Eakins go. GM Mactavish will take over as head coach on a transitional basis before handing the reins to Todd Nelson, who is being promoted to interim head coach from Edmonton's American Hockey League affiliate in Oklahoma City.



My question is when will Kevin Lowe finally be relieved of his duties as President of operations for Oilers?

People in Edmonton cannot believe that inept bum keeps his job year after year. Rumour has it here that if you go to an Oil game with any signs with disparaging remarks about Lowe's leadership(lack of it), you are quickly escorted off the grounds of Rexall Place. Can't confirm it, but that's the rumour.
