Try as I might, i haven't been able to come across anything by KOL that really grabs me. Maybe it's because I'm an old fart.  Anyway, it's my understanding this tune put 'em on the map, so to speak.

Amen.

I saw Blackberry Smoke in concert and quickly became a fan:

You decide which version you prefer. . .

The song is "Silver Bullet" by Hawthorne Heights, an Ohio band. This is the acoustic version:

This is the electric version:

I think the acoustic version is really good. Can't say the same for the other one.

]Here's another double-scoop. KT Tunstall is a Scottish lass and I rather like this song, "Suddenly I See."  Well, the first imbed is the natural version. The second imbed, however, has been geared down so that it sounds like a male singer.  Interesting.

Version #1:

Version #2:

Amen.

These guys are an AC/DC clone band.

These fellas are a Led Zep clone band.

Yeah. That kid's voice bears an uncanny resemblance to Plant's. Seems to me they came on like gangbusters for a short spell, then nuttin' but crickets. Perhaps I haven't been paying close enough attention.

Amen.

I think you are right about that.

Not to be confused with the legendary Ten Years After, this band called "10 years" is from Knoxville, Tennessee. Almost twenty years ago, I came across an mp3 of an acoustic version of this song. This is the metal version of that which, for the present, I like slightly better. Of course, that could all change in a day, or two. For now, however, here ya go:

Amen.

I first heard this song on the soundtrack of "Road Trip" and became an immediate fan:
