The Building Trades of Alberta—representing 18 union locals and over 60,000 skilled trades workers—is throwing its support behind Premier Smith's call for faster approvals on job-creating projects. In a letter to Prime Minister Carney, Executive Director Terry Parker made it clear: delays in Ottawa are holding Alberta back. If the federal government is serious about economic growth, it needs to stop dragging its feet and start working with provinces like Alberta to get shovels in the ground and Canadians back to work.

This could have been all of Canada. Thanks Liberals.

This gal has more balls than the entire male Liberal caucus combined.

Alberta premier Danielle Smith and Finance Minister Nate Horner announced a $2.8 billion boost to Alberta's Heritage Fund, bringing it to a record $30 billion. Since the UCP formed government in 2019, the fund has grown by 84 percent from $16.3 billion. They also named the new board of the Heritage Fund Opportunities Corporation, chaired by Joe Lougheed, to help grow the fund to $250 billion by 2050 and protect Alberta's long-term prosperity.

I wish we could trade Doug Ford for Danielle Smith.

Carney is trying to take credit for Danielle Smith's accomplishments.

Smith cares about the well being of people in her province. Carney does not give a damn about us. He doesn't even live in Canada.

Alberta's Minister of Environment, Rebecca Schulz, issued a statement opposing the electric vehicle mandate on Friday, saying that the Liberals need to abandon the EV mandate before it kicks in next year.

"This is another failed Trudeau policy, just like the carbon tax, which hurt Canadians from coast to coast," she said.

The mandate will force 20 per cent of new cars sold in Canada next year to be zero-emissions, climbing to 100 per cent by 2035.

Schulz explained that Albertans purchased over 223,000 new vehicles last year, while only 25,000 electric vehicles were produced in the entire country. Therefore, the country's production could not account for even Alberta, let alone the entire country.

And he will never set foot in Canada again after the tide turns against him.

And then the Liberals will get a new face to lead the party and they will win again with the same anti working class agenda.
