Then they forcibly removed the entire Jew population of of their newly renamed province and shipped them for resettlement all over their Empire, which was quite extensive at the time and is why there are fucking Jews all over the place throughout history.

Anyway, getting back to the point. The Jews got a much better claim on that little sliver of land than any "Palestinian" descendant of Bedouin goatherd nomads who scavenged the tired wastelands since the muslims swept through.

I find it ridiculous to argue that because a group was somewhere thousands of years ago but left, it gives them ownership and dominion over those abandoned lands if they chose to push the current residents out or outright kill them.
