...the four year hiatus, while coming at substantial cost to world peace and economic prosperity, at least holds the promise of steadier hands at the tiller, as well as the chance to hack and slash at the very machinery that put us in the shit we find ourselves in now.

We must hold them to as high standards as we required of the Loser Left. Trump does seem to have surrounded himself with a better class of political animal as the 47th POTUS though, and we as a people must make sure to provide every incentive to acquit himself admirably in the role, along with those he has seen fit to delegate responsibilities to for the betterment of the US and the world at large.

Let us not drop the ball on this one. I am heartened to see the outcome of the whole H1B thing, we can ensure better outcomes for all concerned if we maintain active interest in the political landscape. The usual suspects will continue to wail and screech as Biden's worst excesses are undone, right along with the excesses of decades of uniparty mismanagement. Remembering that they got away with it only because decent people did not kick up enough of a stink when they might have done.

Let us hope too that these next four years puts the rest of the world on notice and serves as an example of how to get their own houses in order.
