All we ever need is freedom, brother Herm.  I'm all for a social safety net for those truly in need and a sound pension program for oldsters, but I put liberty first before personal security.

Give me rule of law and transparency anyday. I live in one of the most transparent and least corrupt countries. Canada and the US look like Nigeria and Ukraine by comparison.
