Oh no. Nope. He took a chunk of money out of his inheritance to do home repairs.

 He didn't want to finance the roof or the sump pump system so he just took a chunk out of that.

 He had to pay a few thousand in taxes out of it when he took it out, and it counted as income and bumped him into a higher tax bracket for this year.

 So his taxes were higher this year.

 He figured that was going to happened so he was not totally shocked but it still pissed him off.

 In a few months he is going to pay summer property taxes and he is already mad about that lol.
