 In fact Hollywood has been ground zero for spreading the woke ideas and mentality we see today. It's insidious because if you start unpacking a lot of the ideas and biases and such you have, you'll probably find you got it from a show or from movies or music.

 I remember back in the very 90s my grandma called this out. She was flipping through TV channels and started talking about how "they" want to ruin the nuclear family by attacking the integrity and authority of the father. She called out the attack on men and masculinity a long time ago.

 She got that from all the shows. Married with Children. Simpsons. Where the father is presented as a selfish idiot that everyone humors, while the mother quietly runs it all in the back ground.

 For years people believed that lemmings will gather in large groups and fling themselves off cliffs because Disney did a nature doc and they showed a group of lemmings running off a cliff. They didn't do it naturally...someone ran them off of it, they didn't show that part. They presented it as the lemmings just DO that.

 And for decades people bought that with NO question. And there is a saying that people who just do things because the group does it are "like lemmings"....which is just pure irony. 

 Anyway my point is yes, celebs and media and programming all have a ridiculous and scary level of influence over how we all think. Have you seen "Swifties"? They'll actually pay thousands of dollars to see her perform. They'll definitely adopt her ideas.

Anyway nobody really knows what's comin. The prognosticators like Paul Tudor Jones claim theres a downturn or even a crash comin. Yet theyve also been wrong in the past too.

But it could also be a sideways market which is neither up nor down.

Anyways Lokmar I stopped buying Gold at around $2500/oz after it dipped right after the US election.

Since then it's gone way up. But that doesn't mean itll necessarily stay that high & wont come down again. So I haven't bought anymore.

Gold isn't/shouldn't be thought of as an investment to make huge bucks. It's just a hedge against Hard Times.

If someone wants to make big bucks offa gold then they should invest in mining stocks.

That's where I intend to park my money next. And if the stock market goes down further I'll jump in & invest eh Lokmar?
