I think there should be laws against hoarding of non agricultural land. 1 residence + 1 vacation home per individual or family. Anything beyond that gets taxed progressively. That might solve the housing shortage real quick when real estate hoarders realize theres no advantage to mass buying.

Seems the single homeowner is currently subsidizing the land hoarders when it should be the other way around
