He appears to be for a healthier America, cleaning up the food supply.

However some of his claims seem rather dubious. He seemed slow on the mark with that Texas measles outbreak not quite knowing how to respond. Perhaps he had to consult with some physicians on the matter.

Perhaps he represents some good, but he doesn't seem qualified to be Health Secretary given that he's not a physician. Same time, only time will tell, and as an attorney he had a record of suing Big Pharma and winning.

Contrary to common belief, Health Canada is not charged with the responsibility of protecting and promoting the health of Canadians. Their primary responsibility is the enforcement of the Food and Drugs Act.
 
Do you trust Health Canada to make health decisions for you? I do not.

I would be impressed with RFK if he managed to either ban or reduce the amount of MSG & HFCS in American diets & it yielded a net positive effect.
