Is there any reason you still celebrate Canada Day

It is a day off today. If you have time think about how Canada is today and the nation it was just a dozen years ago.

I think we can all agree Canada is less prosperous, and less free. Because of that we are experiencing more visible consequences of our such as soaring violent  crime, poverty and the erosion of a civil society.

This is still a very wealthy nation with trillions of dollars in riches under our feet. We can turn it around. But, another decade like the last one and we will be past the point of no return.

I am fifty one and I am comfortably established. I have the luxury of being thankful. What about you? Are you still thankful on Canada Day? State why.

I celebrate my own personal circumstances. I retired as locomtive engineer with an excellent pension. I own my home free and clear. And I am married to the best woman in the world.

I do not celebrate this country anymore. To do that would be to celebrate it's engineered collapse.

A dire warning has emerged from Mark Carney, a man once seen as a pillar of financial stability, now delivering a message drenched in finality: Canada's relationship with the United States is over. This isn't a mere diplomatic shift—it's the breaking of the last thread keeping Canada tethered to economic and geopolitical survival.

This is no accident. This is deliberate. This is malice.

For over a decade, we have watched as Canada was systematically weakened from within. Our energy sector strangled, industries gutted, freedoms eroded—all under the guise of progress. It was never about prosperity. It was never about the people. Every crisis was an opportunity for those in power to tighten their grip, and now, they are taking the final step: cutting us off from our strongest ally and largest trading partner.

And why? Because it suits their agenda.

The political elite have learned that division fuels their reign. They manufacture enemies, pit the people against each other, and now, they have turned their sights to our relationship with the United States. By isolating Canada, they believe they can rewrite the narrative, control the discourse, and distract from the slow decay they have orchestrated. They are willing to sacrifice the future of an entire nation in exchange for a few more years of unchecked dominance.

But isolation is a death sentence.

With no economic lifeline, no trusted ally, and no stability, Canada will spiral. Rising costs, shattered industries, and a citizenry left to fend for themselves—this is the design, not the side effect. The country is being hollowed out, and those responsible watch with satisfaction as their vision of control solidifies.

We are at the point of no return. The architects of this destruction stand above the wreckage, smiling as the foundations crumble.

This holiday is like Thanksgiving Day to me.....I'm thankful for my family, my friends, my home and my good health..

I'm thankful I was able to get ahead in Canada when it was a lot easier to do so.

The new Canada which will be Alberta and Saskatchewan will be a top five country. The old Canada which is the rest of the country will be broke without revenue and will beg the US to admit their sorry asses.

Unless Canada's deports it's entire white population to Antarctica that country has no chance of regaining it's 1st world status.
