Mr. Bonnell tried to explain his joy over Mr. Kirk's assassination by misrepresenting Charlie Kirk's comments about the attack on Paul Pelosi. Mr. Kirk asked why his attacker was being held without bail while murder suspects are out on bail the same day. Charlie Kirk called the attack on Paul Pelosi "awful."
