Sorry about that. I tried merging it with one of his existing gold threads, but I accidentally deleted it. Multiple threads about the exact same topic is spamming which is a violation of rule 6.

The silver lining for Joe from my mistake is that he now can run to a couple other forums and say that he is a victim of censorship.

Anyway, my apolgies to anyone who posted in those two thread and that includes Joe.

Edweird is the absolute worst. He should not be allowed to post on any forum. He is a seriously disturbed individual that lives on VF and takes things offline into people's careers and businesses. He is one of the reasons VF is so dead today when it was so busy a dozen years ago.

I realize all forums are on life support today, but some good posters left VF  more than a decade ago because of him. Nobody is going to put their job or business at risk over a fucking forum that harbours a deranged little stalker.

As for Joe and Flynn, they are in denial. I don't know the Flynn character that well but I can tell he is having trouble accepting that Brawl Hell has been deceased for over a decade. Joe is having the same problem dealing with the death of trolling in general. They are both dinosaurs.

For what it's worth, I do not necessarily agree with everything DKG does either. The insistence on retaining the Conservative Perspective account to mirror FOX news talking points being one such example. Amplifying a source I understand to be "controlled opposition" is (I believe) a waste not only of our best independent analytic efforts, but also of his money.

At the end of they day however, it is his money to "waste" as he sees fit. And I cam simply not open any of those botted threads, or indeed engage overly with any of the issues arising therein. That approach works for me, I am content to operate within it, I remain a sometime-contributor to this forum because of this.

You would tell me something similar regarding my (increasingly infrequent) interactions with JoHoMo. "He's not worth it, you're wasting your time" etc. Yes, but again... it's my time to waste, every bit as much as paying to host botted Conservative Perspectives spam is DKG's prerogative. I don't pretend either "waste" should cheapen the mutually agreed upon "less wasteful" pursuits that the majority of the board users share as we can all cherrypick what we choose to spend our time on... it's something we are all accustomed to doing and should be.
