Quote from: Lokmar on May 13, 2026, 06:55:16 PMI find extreme wisdom in dietary law, especially if you consider it for its time period. Even in modern times, eating lots of bacon can kill you. Eating scavengers has been shown to have risk.

JOOOZ get all hung up on cheeseburgers but the risk of violating the law to not cook a calf in its mothers milk is extremely low these days.
I'm not denying some of it makes sense.

My point was how unusual in 2026 for an Xtian denomination to follow old testament dietary laws.

Quote from: Lokmar on May 13, 2026, 06:59:25 PMLOL! Allegorical? Killing the infidels is allegorical?  Please show me where there's a comparison in the Bible. BTW, I believe God wants faggits executed AFTER a trial and I believe that a woman raped AS THE SCRIPTURE DESCRIBES IT, should permanently marry her rapist.

I challenge you to prove these as allegorical. They arent extreme either.
How many times do I have to remind people I will not get drawn into any discussion on religious text. That is a rabbit hole I will not go down.

But, the bible not only condones murder in certain circumstances it prescribes it. One example. Deuteronomy 17:7 states, "Your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people".

Commands to kill in either the old testament or the Quran are irrelevant. Most Christians and Muslims do not conduct their lives in 2026 according to questionable ancient texts.

Dont make comparisons on pislam vs Judeo Christianity if you dont want to get dragged into a debate FFS! YOU played YOU here!

BTW, your description of Deuteronomy is incorrect at the very LEAST. People subject to The Law who worshiped false Gods were to be put on trial and if found guilty on the testimony of MULTIPLE witnesses, they would be executed, NOT MURDERED!

Most muhzies do not butcher Christians. However, when the butchery occurs, its always groups of muhzies supported by kweeran, government or neighborhood inaction or assistance. If a group of Christians butchered muhzies anywhere, it would be universally condemned by the entire Christian community.....well, except for me maybe.
