Can anyone verify if this is true or has a more data heavy source?
According to this video the liberals have been using the CPP, that "independent, world class, sacred pension fund" to prop up the national finances for years. I don't recall this ever coming up in the Alberta Next panels. If true it obliterates the federalist argument that the UCP would steal our pensions when the evidence appears to indicate the federal government is borrowing against it. Thus our pensions are in enormous danger by remaining in CPP.

If this is true, it would not surprise me at all. Canada has become a lot less transparent since 2015.

This rumour has been around for a while.
