Of course the Lunar Lander can be replicated, there's simply no need, as further scientific advances are in other areas, such as space stations that orbit the (spherical) earth and unmanned rockets that explore other (spherical) planets and the more distant parts of the universe that we've been unable to reach in the past due to improved technology.
