This is Philippines food?

Yes, Velvet. It is Philippine cuisine. (I like how you spelled Philippines. Good job!   )

Do you spell men and women from the Philippines as Filipinos and Filipinas?

Singh Gill

Tonight will be extra spicey Indian dish! Once I start sweating that out, I'll certainly be living up to my stereotype then!

Looks good!
I've come here to chew bubble gum, and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

That sounds like a plan! I normally use chicken, but I can see turkey working real well.

Normally we have ham for Christmas.

My dad use to say, "eat pork and black eyed peas on new years for luck". I shit you not, just after eating it, I find out my wife was cheating on me. No more pork and black eyed peas on new years for me!

Gave the caramelized onion bread another try. Used a lot more poppy seed and garlic chunks on the top of the bread. Roasted toasted garlic works real good on top of this bread the first time, more has to be better.... :smiley_thumbs_up_yellow_ani:

Yes. It does color slightly due to the amount of onions I am using, but is white. Thinking of using wheat flour next time.

Had a breakfast bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich...It was very good.
