When turkeys are on sale at Thanksgiving and Christmas, I usually buy three and put them in the freezer..



I'll cook another turkey for Rememberance Day weekend..



I'll try that with the leftovers.

I had shredded white breast meat in mind for the tacos.

Interesting. Those would make good open faced turkey sammiches too lol. Or turkey sammiches in general.

Turkey makes the best sammiches.

I eat them Monday - Thursday lol, Chef Boyardee on Friday lol. But a fresh roasted turkey makes a much better turkey sammich than deli meat.

Processed meats are never in our fridge.

Maybe I should start doing that. Last year I ate chicken for a month with squash, and no bread. Seemed like I felt better after that month. I think all the prep work involved is what gets me lol. So much easier picking up a pack of Hillshire Farms turkey lol.

I like bean sprouts, but dont think I've seen them at the grocery store. Jimmy Johns subs use to have bean sprouts on them. Along with cucumber, cheese, and guacomole, I liked that one, was the veggie one.





I would like to find a better bread. Currently I use Sara Lee Honey Wheat Delightful bread, its low carb and whole grain. Would like to find something more natural thats low carb and low flour.

I bought three pizzas from the deli at Safeway after work yesterday..



I'll add spinach, crushed garlic, carmelized onions, spicy Italian sausage, black olives, mushrooms and and extra marinara sauce..



And we'll eat in between trick or treaters coming to the door.

Im making ribs tonight.  Not sure what side? Gotta head to the market soon and check it out...possibly cesaer salad and broccoli.
