I ate at the Confederate Veteran meeting tonight, a nice hearty meal, pulled pork stew. Dessert was a pumpkin/carrot cake.



Looks like I'll be in the Lee/Jackson Day parade in January lol.
I've come here to chew bubble gum, and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

You have no idea.... full of so much flavor!!  :bbq:





They were a lil on the tough side though, unlike the Yankee meat I've had before, but at least less greasy and didnt taste as sour.

Im thinking 20-25?



Was even an Asian lady there. Her son was receiving his Honorary Son of Confederate Veteran certificate.



She thought I was 25  :laugh:



She was shocked when I told her my age and how old my son was lol.

It was my great great grandfather that fought. I'd bet if my dad was still around he would go this thing. Then it would of only been his great grandfather that served. The war really wasnt that many generations ago lol.
