Ordered my shopping delivered on Christmas Eve, so the seafood portion was super fresh.



We're just doing a small buffet of cold cuts, cheeses, pickled items, and seafood for Christmas Day lunch. We invited somebody in their late age, but don't know if he will attend.



We will visit our eldest later in the day...at least most of us.

Does Victoria state have restrictions on the number of people that can be in attendance for the holidays?


Not anymore but the hospitals have a 2 limit visitor per day rule. They waved it for us three on Christmas day.

I feel terrible about leaving my mother and my mother in law alone on Christmas eve and day..



I will visit both of them tomorrow and Christmas day, but it's not the same as ll of us being together.

Bring them to your house anyway.

We love turkey soup..



We bought three turkeys....I'll cook another one in January and again in February.

I raise my own turkeys and chickens. I usually slaughter about  four a year for our own personal use.

I make turkey stirfry, turkey lasagna, turkey pot pies, turkey pho. turkey chili, turkey curry, turkey fajitas, and turkey and stiffing casserole.

I made up a big platter of deli meat, cheese, chopped veggies, and pickled items with crackers.



They needed to be used up and nobody was really hungry after a late brunch...
