I had some frozen turkey dark meat and made turkey vermicelli soup.

Blazor

Last night was grilled 1/2lb deer burgers and curly fries. I have to remember to thank my friend today for the deer meat, it was delicious.
I've come here to chew bubble gum, and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

I've had venison before Blazor, but not in burgers..

Did you mix it with pork or beef?

I dont mix it lol. It "may" have had a lil bit of pork fat added, thats what they normally do at the processing place I go to. They have to add a smidge of fat because venison is so lean. I love it, less fat, and all organic meat lol.

Im gonna have to try harder this year to get me a deer. I make burgers with the burger, or chili, spaghetti, meatloaf, tacos, stuffed peppers, etc. Deer sausage is good too, the summer sausage (with casing) is awesome too. Deer jerky is the best. Then there is also deer steaks and roasts.

That's what I meant Blazor..

Venison is very lean and hard to make burgers from without something fattier added.

Lol, thats very true. I tried to make some before with no fat added and it was very dry. I like lean, but man!

I just didnt know because it came from my friend. His son works at a processing place I think.

Fash, have you ever tried mushroom tostados?

Here is the recipe I generally follow. The difference in how I do it, is that I emulsify the refried beans rather than just mashing them and instead of avocado and poblano peppers I make a spicy guacamole to top it with...also emulsified.

You can do it with white beans as well.
